Virgin Media’s chief financial officer Jerry Elliot has resigned from the cablenet citing family health reasons.
Elliot, who only joined the company in January, will officially step down on May 31. Rick Martin, Virgin Media’s Treasurer, will take responsibility for capital markets and treasury functions while Robert Gale, Virgin Media’s Controller, will act as principal financial officer.
Virgin Media CEO Neil Berkett paid tribute to Elliot, saying he was sorry to lose him and describing him as an “outstanding addition” to the company.
A search for a replacement is underway.
