Com Hem has launched an extensive video-on-demand (VOD) platform combining movie rentals, music playlists and startover TV.
An initial 14,000 households in Stångåstaden, Linköping will be the first to access the service, which the company is describing as its largest TV venture since the introduction of digital TV ten years ago. On demand will be rolled out to 500,000 homes by the end of the year at a cost of SEK 200 million (€19.08 million).
Features include startover, catch-up TV, movie rentals through SF Anytime and Music playlists through Music Choice.
