DTT set-top boxes are now owned by one in five TV homes in the Czech Republic, according to data released by Mediaresearch published in HN.
What is more, 11.3% of Czech TV homes can now receive HD signals, or five times more than a year earlier.
Viewing of multichannel TV has also increased dramatically in the Czech Republic: as of January 2008, almost 40% of TV homes only watched a maximum of four channels, while now that figure has fallen to 20% and 40% receive at least 26 channels.
