Officials from cablenet ZON and the Portuguese public broadcaster RTP have reached agreement on the continued distribution of 24-hour news network RTP N.
The channel will now be carried in all of ZON’s packages after a week when it had been dropped altogether in favour of the French language TV5 Monde.
There were fears that any permanent removal from Portugal’s leading cable operator may have lead to it losing ground to commercial rival SIC Notícias.
