The EC has opened two separate antitrust investigations against the Polish and Slovak incumbent telcos.
They are based on suspected breaches of the EC Treaty’s prohibition of abusive practices and follows inspections carried out in September 2008 at TPSA and January this year at Slovak Telecom.
Both telcos ware suspected of preventing or hindering competition on broadband internet access and other electronic communications markets in their respective countries.
