Deutsche Telekom is set to increase its stake in the Greek incumbent telco OTE.
According to ZF, it will acquire an additional 5% from the Greek state, with shares valued at €27.5 each, bringing its total to 30% plus one share.
OTE’s interests extend to neighbouring Romania, where it has a stake in Romtelecom, the operator of Dolce, one of the country’s five DTH platforms.
Within Greece itself, it is preparing to launch an IPTV service, working alongside the On Demand Group (ODG).
