The Spanish regulator CMT has published a report on broadband prices in the EU 27 countries.
Data contained in the report, which refers to December 2008, shows that the best price voice and broadband (2-10 Mbps) offer in Spain cost €33.2 a month, or 11.7% more than the EU average.
However, for broadband access speeds of 10 Mbps and higher, it was, at €36.6 a month, 2.1% lower than the EU average of €37.4.
For lowest speeds of up to 2 Mbps, Spain’s €33.2 was 5.1% higher than the EU €31.6.
The CMT publishes its comparative broadband report every six months.
