Dutch cable operators Ziggo and UPC have appealed against the market analysis of the telecom authority OPTA, according to local sources.
The two cablers have files their complaint with the College van Beroep voor het Bedrijfsleven, a court that specialises in disputes between companies and government agencies.
The filing will have no impact on the introduction of the Open Cable ruling, which will give third parties access to both the Ziggo and UPC networks for reselling the analogue television product. The market analysis by the OPTA is the basis of this ruling.
