UPC speeds up in Poland

UPC has introduced what it claims to be the fastest internet service in Poland.

Offering access at up to 30 Mbps, it is offered by the operator’s Internet Ultra package, which previously provided speeds of up to 20 Mbps.

At the same time, it has reduced the monthly subscription fee to the package to PLN120 (€28.1). UPC has also upgraded its other internet packages in Poland, raising Internet Student from 512 Kbps to 1 Mbps, Internet Sprint from 2 Mbps to 5 Mbps and Internet Turbo from 10 Mbps to 15 Mbps.

Higher access speeds will allow more subscribers to view the internet-based service UPC Live TV, which currently nine TV channels.
