Advanced Digital Broadcast has said it is supplying its ADB-7820SX HD PVR to the Israeli satcaster Yes.
The order follows up on ADB’s initial order from Yes when the company launched its first PVR in 2007.
“We are delighted to have secured this new agreement with Yes, commented Jim Lomax, executive VP, worldwide sales and marketing, ADB. “ADB has supported Yes in supplying state-of-the-art digital television equipment for over seven years. We believe that these new units will enable Yes to further enhance its digital satellite television business “.
The Yes version of the ADB-7820SX carries NDS MediaHighway middleware and VideoGuard conditional access. It also carries twin tuners, capable of MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 reception; a single chip microprocessor and an HDMITM interface.
