Viasat Broadcasting has secured exclusive live broadcasting pay-TV rights to the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).
It features international ice hockey played by 21 teams from Russia, along with three from Latvia, Belarus and Kazakhstan respectively, and the deal will allow Viasat to show at least 64 games a season on Viasat Sport Baltic.
The rights to the KHL, which was formed in 2008, are for a period of three years, starting with the 2009/2010 season.
