The Ukrainian incumbent telco Ukrtelekom has finally launched an IPTV service.
It consists of two packages, known as OGO! and U.TV, and is being made initially available in Kiev and environs, Vinnichchni and Zaporozhne.
Although the service will initially offer only 26 channels, the telco says the number will be “continuously expanded.”
Ukrtelekom was expected to start IPTV trials in late 2007, launching a full service in the first half of last year.
