CABLE CONGRESS 2009 – BERLIN. France’s Numericable plans to invest €200 million in infrastructure this year, according to its COO, Olivier Gérolami.
He added that over 4 million of its 9.5 million homes passed are already in FTTB areas and its entire network would be fibre in three years.
Gérolami also said that “the name of the game” is to take share from telcos”, providing internet access at three times the speed as DSL but at the same price.
