Polsat has taken indirect, though at the same time complete, control of the entertainment-based cable and satellite channel Superstacja.
According to Wirtualne Media, Ster, a company backed by Polsat’s owner Zygmunt Solorz-Zak, has raised its stake in Superstacja to 100%, buying up shares previously held by Ryszard Krajewski.
Several parties, including the multimedia company Agora and Axel Springer Polska, have been linked with Superstacja in recent months.
It is understood that Krajewski will stay on as the president of Superstacja.
