The new Polish DVB-H licence holder Info-TV-FM has hit the ground running.
Awarded the licence by the Office of Electronic Communications (UKE) only days ago, it will, according to Wirtualne Media, make an official request to reserve the frequencies it has been awarded by tomorrow (March 13).
It has also said that its DVB-H operation will be funded by Magna Polonia, which earlier this week announced plans to hold an IPO to raise new capital.
Info-TV-FM will be required to pay an initial PLN15.105 million (€3.274 million) by tomorrow, while investment in infrastructure for its DVB-H operation is likely to be in the region of PLN200-300 million.
