OpenTV has become the latest technology company to open an office in India. The new Mumbai office follows the recent appointment of Kishore Shirekar as country manager for India and Regional Sales Director for South Asia and the Middle East.

OpenTV already has a presence in India, providing its middleware product to three of the country’s network operators: DishTV (Essel Group), BigTV (Reliance Communications) and Sun Direct.
