The leading Latvian cable operator Baltkom has posted a consolidated turnover of LVL14.5 million (€20.7 million) for 2008, or 29% more than the previous year.
Its consolidated profit meanwhile amounted to LVL1.3 million.
Although Baltkom expects its turnover to fall in 2009, it also says it plans to invest more this year than the LVL3 million in 2008 on upgrading its infrastructure.
Furthermore, it expects to add a number of channels to its offer that will be available exclusively to its 230,000 subscribers.
