TPSA broadband share falls

February 26, 2009 11.05 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

The Polish incumbent telco TPSA ended 2008 with 2.193 million fixed broadband lines, with a further 251,000 for BSA and LLU.

Its total share of the Polish fixed broadband market stood at 39.6%, slightly down from the 41.4% share recorded at the end of 2007.

Although TPSA has not provided take-up figures for its IPTV and recently launched DTH platform, it says it intends to offer its VOD service, currently available only to IPTV users, to its DTH customers from later this year.
