UPC has outlined its plans for Romania in 2009.
Quoted in ZF, Severina Pascu, its financial director in the country, said that the company would invest €52 million in equipment and network infrastructure this year, or over €10 million than in 2008.
Some €30 million of this total would be allocated to network equipment and software applications, bringing with the possibility of offering internet access at speeds of up to 100Mbps.
Pascu added that UPC would also introduce HD services in Romania by the end of the year.
