The Estonian local TV channel Neljas (Fourth TV) is likely to close at the end of this month unless it finds a new owner.
Neljas was launched by Starman, the country’s leading cable operator and also its DTT provider, in February 2008 and initially carried only subtitled US and British films and series.
It was acquired by Kalev Meedia last autumn and then Videomeedia earlier this year.
Neljas has fallen victim to the global financial crisis, making its aim of breaking even in the next 2-3 years highly unlikely.
