Canal + Cyfrowy is keen to play a leading role in Poland’s soon-to-emerge DTT marketplace.
Quoted in Wirtualne Media, Betrand le Guern, the president of the Cyfra+ operating company, said that it will not only try to secure one or two channel slots but also an operator’s licence for the second multiplex.
Poland is expected to launch a DTT service this September, initially with a single multiplex covering only a handful of cities.
