NonStop Television’s relaunch of the pan-Nordic channel TV7 is being supported by an on demand platform from the word go.
The new look channel will launch this Saturday (February 14) and will target women through exclusive series, romantic films and lifestyle shows. The download service will be run by the Scandinavian provider Film2Home.
“Through the launch of the new TV7, the channel expands from being available only in Sweden to a Pan Scandinavian TV channel. TV7 will broadcast 24/7 and be available On Demand from the premier evening.” says Ignas Scheynius, CEO at NonStop Television, “We believe that a female focused channel like TV7 is missing in the Nordic countries and we look forward to the future of the new TV7.”
The opening night features the movies Four Weddings and a Funeral and When Harry Met Sally.
NonStop Television acquired the channel last summer from Broadcast Management Sweden (BMS).
