The war between pay-TV rivals Canal+ and Orange TV is still going on. According to the French newspaper La Tribune, Vivendi subsidiaries Canal+ and SFR filed a complaint against Orange parent France Telecom over the terms of its pay-TV service.
Canal+ CEO Bertrand Meheut told the paper that “Orange has ‘tied sales’ of sport and cinema channels to its broadband service and sells access to top French football matches ‘at loss.'”
Last year, Orange launched a number of football and premium movie and TV series channels in competition with Canal+.
