A tender to supply the Hungarian public broadcaster Magyar Televizió (MTV) with HD technology has run into difficulties.
Népszabadság reports that the HD Hungary Consortium, which is made up of Navigátor Informatika, Penna Média and Pro-Tech Stúdió, has told MTV that it is no longer in a position to submit a binding offer due to the economic crisis and weakening of the Hungarian forint.
The HD Hungary Consortium was the last remaining bidder in a process that began in December 2007.
