Croatia will shortly see the launch of its first film channel.
According to mPortal, Cinestar TV will make its official debut in March but will be distributed from this month by B.net, the country’s leading cable operator.
Cinestar is owned by Blitz Film and Video Distribution and will be on air for at least 16 hours a day, seven days a week.
A premium SD channel, it will be distributed via cable and other digital means (though not satellite) and compete directly with TV1000 Balkan.
