Style Network is to extend its European presence, launching into Greece, Turkey, Cyprus, Lithuania and Portugal through new deals that are largely with IPTV networks.
In Greece, the Comcast Media Group-owned channel has gained capacity in the basic pack of telco OTE while in neighbouring Cyprus the berth is with the Cyprus Telecommunication Authority’s pay-TV platform Cytavisio. Turkish viewers will be able to watch Style on the Dogan pay-TV platform. In Lithuania, capacity is being provided by Teo and in Portugal on both Sonaecom and Meo.
The move will put the international version of the channel into 10 million homes, largely through its existing deal with the UK’s Sky.
