France’s Conseil supérieur de l’audiovisuel (CSA) has begun to set the analogue switch off process in motion.
According to the regulator, the first part of the country to lose its analogue signals will be Nord-Cotentin, which is located in the Cherbourg region and encompasses 200,000 people, on November 19 this year.
Free reception of the TNT DTT service will be guaranteed to everyone in the area following the switch off.
