Television retained its position as the dominant medium in Poland in 2008, claiming almost 55% of an ad market worth PLN20.204 billion (€4.660 billion).
It also, according to data provided by Wirtualne Media/Expert Monitor, grew in value by 16.7% during the year, up from PLN9.484 billion to PLN11.071 billion.
Newspapers and magazines were the next most lucrative media in 2008, claiming spends of PLN2.747 billion and PLN2.638 billion respectively, followed by radio with PLN2.089 billion.
