Russia’s Comstar-UTS has completed the consolidation of a 100% stake in Comstar-Direct.
Up until now, it has held a 51.82% share, with the remaining 48.18% controlled by Sistema Mass Media (SMM).
Under the terms of the agreement, Comstar-UTS will assume control of the management of the part of Comstra-Direct that provides multimedia services, including broadband internet access and pay-TV, and its subscriber base.
Comstar-UTS is the leading fixed line telco in Moscow and also has a presence in five Russian regions, along with Armenia and Ukraine.
