Convergys has given details of the data migration and relationship management software implementation conducted for Virgin Media.
The programme has finally brought together the four legacy billing systems following the February 2007 merger of NTL and Telewest. The cablenet has chosen the Convergys’ ICOMS customer care and billing system.
Over four million accounts were migrated to the new platform, bringing the total number of Virgin Media subscribers on the ICOMS system to approximately five million. The project was completed both on time and on budget.
Convergys is providing Virgin with ongoing support and maintenance services.
