The French cable operator Numéricable has signed a new, 10-year distribution agreement, bringing Eurosport HD to the network, as well as ten other channels and the TV Vision VOD service. However, Eurosport HD will not start broadcasting on the cabler until July 1.
The new agreement guarantees the distribution of all ten channels in the TF1 group: TF1, Eurosport France, Eurosport 2, LCI, TV Breizh, Odyssey, Ushuaia TV, Histoire) and the two channels jointly owned by TF1 and M6 (TF6 and Série Club ).
Also included are the HD versions of TF1 and Ushuaïa TV. The agreement does not include TMC, in which TF1 owns 40%.
Numericable will also be able to offer TF1 Catch up TV and will continue to offer TF1 Vision, the VOD service that launched on the network in April 2008.
