The Polish DTH platform Cyfra+ will have to pay a fine PLN7.3 million (€1.84 million) imposed by the country’s Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK).
According to Wirtualne Media, this follows a ruling by the Supreme Court on the decision, made in 2006, to impose the fine on Cyfra+ for entering into an illegal agreement with the Polish National Football Association (PZPN).
The latter was fined over PLN440,000 over the same action.
