Russia will shortly have yet another DTH platform.
According to Parabola, the service will be known as Raduga TV and offer a mix of 40 Russian and international channels, with the number set to eventually rise to 60.
Raduga TV, which began trials on December 26 and is set for a full commercial launch in February, will be operated by GTSS in association with DalGeokom.
It will be distributed by the LMI-1 (ABS-1) satellite at 75 degrees East, which is operated by GTSS.
