Eutelsat’s German cable headend in the sky service KabelKiosk is to expand its current channel line-up with another six channels.
Set for launch are the home shopping channels HSE24 and 1-2-3.tv, the gay lifestyle channel Timm TV, games and computer channel Giga, music channel i-Music One and the news and current affairs broadcaster Russia Today.
Earlier, Kabelkiosk announced the launch of the Global Broadcasting channels America Unleashed, Total Hip Hop Television, News and Finance, Indie Pix and Classics, Faith Lifestyle, Indie Sports Games, Comedy and Travel, Home and Garden from 2009 (see Broadband TV News passim).
All channels will broadcast via the Eutelsat Eurobird 9 satellite at 9 degrees East.
