The Nordic version of Comedy Central will make its long awaited debut in Sweden on New Year’s Day.
The MTV Networks-owned channel has secured capacity through Boxer, Canal Digital, Comhem, Telia, Tele2, SPA, Borderlight, Otrum, IP Sweden and Hoist Group.
Henrik Schyffert, a local comedian and TV personality who appeared on MTV as a VJ in the late 1980s, has been appointed as “senior comedy advisor.
Comedy Central received its licence for DTT distribution from the RTVV in April.
