Portuguese cable TV operator Zon TV Cabo has launched the Regiões TV (RTV) channel, dedicated to regional news and information.
The new channel is available to cable clients equipped with the Powerbox STB and who subscribe to the “Clássico” and “Funtastic” packages, in the areas of Lisbon, Porto, Coimbra and the southern bank of the Tejo River.
Regiões TV represents an evolution of Canal Região Norte TV, a regional channel covering Northern Portugal. Regiões TV is produced by Nextv Rádio e Televisão and headed by Vítor Fernandes (director general of programs) and Andreia Carneiro (director of information).
