The Dutch weather information provider Meteo Consult is to revamp its Dutch Weerkanaal (weather channel). rebranding it as Weer & Verkeer (weather and traffic).
The current Weerkanaal is available on extended digital tiers at UPC and Ziggo and concentrates only on the weather forecast. The new Weer & Verkeer will add traffic information to the mix.
Meteo Consult in Wageningen is a major European provider of weather information. It also supplies Dutch RTL with daily weather forecasts.
