The new Belgian DTH platforms TeleSat will officially make its debut today with a ‘soft launch’. The bouquet will be available on the Eutelsat Hotbird position, with broadcasts being made in MPEG-4.
The operator will transmit the main Belgian French language channels from public broadcaster RTBF and the RTL group.
TeleSat subscribers will also have access to selected channels from the Bis DTH platform in France, which is owned by the Groupe AB. Using a single-block dual LNB viewers, will in addition be able to see channels on the Astra 19 degrees East position.
