Shopping Channel Ideal World is reducing its headcount by 15% in a move the company said would allow it to remain competitive.
70 jobs are going at the Peterborough-based firm that operates three channels; Ideal World, Ideal World 2, and Create and Craft. Between them the channels have distribution on satellite, cable and DTT.
Temporary staff will be phased out by the end of the month while a voluntary redundancy scheme has also been launched.
