The Polish MSO Vectra aims to remain one of the leading providers of digital cable TV services in the country for the foreseeable future.
Quoted in Wirtualne Media, its president Tomasz Zuranski said the operator, which currently has around 175,000 digital cable TV subscribers, expects the number to rise to 240,000 by the end of 2009.
Vectra, which is Poland’s second largest MSO after UPC with a total of 700,000 cable TV customers, also plans to introduce a PVR product in Q3 2009 and VOD at the end of 2009/beginning of 2010.
Vectra currently accounts for around a half of all Polish digital cable homes.
