Vodafone has denied it is interested in acquiring the German cable giant Kabel Deutschland KDG, according to the Dow Jones Newswire. The statement follows reports over the weekend that the mobile operator has set its eyes on the German cabler.
Providence Equity Partners, the current owner of the network, said that it is interested in selling KDG when the right amount is offered. The investors are seeking bids which exceed ten times the EBITA figure.
