Greece’s OTE is on course to launch a full commercial IPTV service in early 2009.
According to the telco, the initial customer response to its trial IPTV service, which made its debut in September, has been favourable despite the limited content available.
OTE is the dominant player in Greece’s ADSL sector, accounting for over 924,000 out of a total of over 1.5 million subscribers at the end of Q3.
The latter figure compared to just under 1.4 million at the end of Q2 this year.
