The leading Spanish cable operator ONO has posted revenues of €396 million for Q3, or 3% less than in the previous quarter and 2.1% less than in the corresponding quarter in 2007.
At the same time, its EBITDA was, at €180 million, 0.3% less than in the previous quarter and 4.5% down on a year earlier.
Although ONO’s EBITDA rose by 8.8% in the first nine months of this year, its revenues were down by 0.9%. ONO had 1.870 million residential customers as of September 30, or 0.1% less than three months earlier.
However, the figure was 2.2% up on the corresponding period in 2007. ARPU in Q3 stood at €52.4 (€53.3 in Q2, and € 52.6 in Q3 2007).
On the plus side, ONO’s triple play subscriber total continues to grow steadily, the 630,000 posted in Q3 being 10% higher than in the corresponding quarter in 2007.
