Virgin Media has launched a new ‘up to 16 Mbps’ broadband service for its ADSL customers. The rebranded Virgin Media National is allowing new and existing off-net subscribers to double their speeds from 8 Mbps for a three-month trial period.
Once the trial period has completed customers will pay an additional £5 per month over and above the £16 per month paid for the 8 Mbps service.
The speed increase is the latest improvement to Virgin broadband, which has recently seen the launch of a USB dongle to enable mobile broadband.
