UPC Austria says it has welcomed its 10,000th HD customer, a Ms Romana Ross from Kaltenleutgeben. The operator launched its HD offer in May 2008. Part of the offer is ORF1 HD, the HD version of the main public channel.
National Geographic HD is available as part of an extended tier. UPC Austria has 554,000 TV customers, 431,000 broadband homes and 217,000 telephony subscribers.
