Viaccess CEO Francois Moreau de Saint Martin and Abdul Aziz Yamani, CEO of ART seal the deal
Viaccess has announced its Praha card is to be deployed on Arablic language pay-TV platform in the Middle East. Although the operator has an 11 year relationship with Viaccess to secure content broadcast across North Africa, ART has previously used Irdeto to encrypt its content in the Middle East.
In a statement, Viaccess said it would strengthen its current collaboration to enable a smooth migration to the Praha card.
Viaccess CEO François Moreau de Saint Martin said the company’s world class protection would enable the delivery of premium content to ART subscribers. “The extension of our partnership with ART for the Middle eastern market is the ultimate proof of the benefits provided by our security technology.”
ART produces an annual 6,000 hours of programming across its network year including family oriented dramas, series, plays, sports programs, music videos, and documentaries. It also boasts the largest film library in the Middle East through a 30 year association with the leading film production houses in the Arab world.
