The launch of the metropolitan channel TVN Warszawa has been put back from November 17 to an unspecified date next month.
According to Wirtualne Media, the channel, which will be the first such service operated by the Polish commercial broadcaster TVN, began trials on November 1.
It has already secured distribution deals with the cable operators UPC Polska, Aster, Multimedia Polska and Spray, along with the DTH platforms Cyfra+ and n.
If successful, TVN Warszawa will almost certainly be followed by other TVN-branded channels serving large cities in other parts of Poland.
