The Viasat TV1000 Russian Kino premium movie channel has been launched in the US.
It is being distributed by the DISH Network, being made available in its five-channel Russian Mega Pack and also on as an a la carte option.
TV1000 Russian Kino made its debut in Russia, the Baltic Republics and CIS in October 2005.
In the US, it will target an estimated 5-7 million Russian language speakers.
