Latens has signed a global reseller agreement with Motorola that places Latens as the core conditional access component of Motorola’s integrated IPTV ecosystem reference platform.
The reseller agreement covers Latens CA and middleware products for cable, satellite, and terrestrial networks, though it is likely to have the greatest impact in the IPTV sector, where Motorola is winning much of its new business.
“This agreement is a further testament to the level of superior security and flexibility that our software solutions provide pay-TV operators,” said Jeremy Thorp, CEO, Latens. “The cumulative experience serving the pay-TV market and the successful joint customer references we have obtained over recent years, continue to be key factors for operators deploying our joint solution.”
The company says the extended partnership will enable operators to deploy and launch IPTV services faster.
