The Walloon digital terrestrial platform from public broadcaster RTBF is set to add two more channels to its offer from March 2009 onwards. TV5 Monde and the Franco-German cultural channel Arte will be included in the free to air offer.
At the moment, RTBF transmits four TV channels and a number of radio stations, with RTBF La Une, RTBF La Deux, RTBFSat and Euronews being available in the French speaking part of the country. Next March, Arte and TV5 Monde will be added, according to local reports. More digital developments in this week’s issue of New Television Insider.
